Who We Are
Leona O'Hara-Retail and Marketing Director
How did you get involved with Chaos and Speed?
I met Brian while I was I working at Advance Auto Parts. He had expressed an interest in reopening his motorcycle repair and retail parts and accesories store here and I was impressed by his dedication and qualifications. After some encouragement, he went ahead with his dreams and I have happily helped him in any way that I could, including managing the retail department in his absence. Working with him has also inspired me to start training in the field of motorcycle mechanics. For technical training, I am going through Penn Foster's certification program and for the practical training I have been apprenticing with Brian for a year and continue to aid in the shop gaining hands on experience every chance I get, including working on my first solo custom rebuild!
What prepared you for taking on that role?
My first job was as a rides operator at Six Flags, Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. Working there taught me alot about working hard and interacting with the public. That initial experience stayed with me through all of my retail jobs and was expanded on during my time in the United States Navy. During my time there I worked as an assistant to our base public affairs representative. I loved every aspect of being in direct contact with the local community and plan to use those skills to prove our business' dedication to our community. We live here, our children go to school here, and we believe in the power our local business' have in shaping our community's image as well as it's growth.

Brian O'Hara - Owner/Mechanic
What got you into bikes:
As a child I grew up with motorcycles, go-karts, and cars being a big part of my life. I started riding when I was 9 years old. When I got a paper route I found myself buying motorcycles from my customers with the phrase "it hasen't run in years' being said quite often. The rule in my house was if it doesn't run it can't be in this yard (my parents hated the fact that I had a mechanical mind).
Places You've Worked:
My first job was at BK (it has something to do with oil).
I worked at Firestone tire for a while, then it was Penske Automotive, followed by Foreign Autoparts Warehouse, after that I became a driver for Foriegn Autoparts, my next job was at Minute-Man trucks ( a heavy truck dealer).
Then came the motorcycle era that hasen't stopped. First was Brockton Cycle Center (I started in set-up and ended as their lead mechanic) From there I went to Bettencourt's Honda / Suzuki (I was their Parts Dept. Assistant Manager. I then opened up Chaos And Speed in 2002.
What Are Your Certifications:
I have been certified by Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha. I have worked on all bikes including Harley Davidsons for people that would rather not be mentioned.
I also have 3 ASE certifications in Parts Knowledge, General Engine Repair, and A/C -Heating.
